• On average builds take 6 months. Complexity, wood species and parts choices can affect lead times.

  • To secure your build spot we require a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of the estimated build cost before starting. Read that again, deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. You will be asked to execute documentation that fully understand this requirement/policy Guitar parts and wood are EXPENSIVE. We LOVE building guitars but we don’t do it out of charity.

  • Shipping prices for custom guitar builds are $75-$125 for domestic orders (Continental US) via UPS Ground. Expedited options are available at an additional cost. Delivery timing and options will be discussed with you and agreed upon prior to scheduling.

    International Shipping is available upon request.

  • Yes all builds come with a standard hard-shell Gator case.

  • Jett Austin Guitars is not liable for lost, stolen, or unclaimed packages. Please refer to tracking number for online orders and keep an eye out for all incoming packages. If the tracking information indicates that a package was delivered to the address provided, we cannot file a claim on your behalf. Please note that USPS, FedEx, and UPS are third party services which are not affiliated with JAG. If you are experiencing delays after your order was already shipped, you must contact the shipping company directly. We will always do our best to assist however we can.

  • We understand that you might want to make adjustments as your custom build progresses. If you decide to add upgrades after your design consultation or after the 50% deposit has been made, the additional costs will be added to your remaining balance, due upon delivery.

    We're happy to accommodate reasonable changes, but please note that there will be a limit. This means we can't fundamentally alter the design or make extensive changes (like repainting your guitar multiple times) mid-way through the build. There will also be a point at which we can no longer accept changes to ensure timely completion. Rest assured, we're committed to building your dream guitar.
